Pictured are the MaxLight Pre-Inked Stamps.
Other brands include X-Stamper™, IStamp, Trodat, Evostamp,
Ultimark, PSI, Alpha One, Omega, Shiny, Eminent.
Accu-Stamp is only available with stock wording. It cannot be made to order.
We normally sell the MaxLight, but we can get in the other brands if you want.
What's the difference between the MaxLight XL2 and the MaxLight X?
Not much, really.
The MaxLight X is the design for the big sizes.
The two designs work the same way and use the same ink.
What's the difference in a pre-inked stamp
and a self-inking stamp?
A pre-inked stamp, whether it is a MaxLight stamp, X-Stamper™
or any other brand, uses a special type of rubber that absorbs ink.
To use it, you remove the cover, press the stamp down and replace the cover.
They are re-inkable, but they use a special oil-based ink that cannot
be used on any other type of stamp. It will damage other types of stamps.
A self-inking stamp, no matter what brand it is, has a stamp pad built inside.
You just press on the top, the inside flips over, and the stamp prints.
It then closes by itself. They are re-inkable, using regular water-based ink,
the same ink you put on a stamp pad. The pad can also be replaced
if you don't want to mess with a bottle of ink.
I want one! How do I place an order?
Our on-line ordering system isn't set up for pre-inked stamps yet,
so the best thing to do is email
the wording you want and
either the size of stamp or the size you want the print to fit into.
We'll contact you after we get your email.
Pre-inked stamps have a removeable cover.
These stamps are re-inkable, but only with ink designed for that brand of stamp.
These stamps are made with a special rubber that absorbs ink, so there is no ink pad.
More important stuff:
There are different ways to re-ink the stamp
depending on the size and brand of the stamp.
On some of them, you remove the handle.
On others, you slide the bottom of the stamp out of the frame.
It (sometimes) says on the stamp which way to re-ink it.
Then you put 3-4 drops of ink in the opening and re-assemble the stamp.
Wait an hour or so for the ink to soak in (sometimes less).
These are available in all ink colors for pre-inked stamps.
Black, Blue, Red, Green, Purple.
