INKS FOR RUBBER STAMPS

Some stamps are made out of natural rubber and
some are made out polymer (a plastic commonly used to make rubber stamps).

The regular rubber stamp pad ink we sell will not damage stamps made out of polymer.

We make your stamps out of natural rubber,
so cheap inks will not damage the stamps we've made for you.

But, since not everyone buys their stamps from us (we don't know why that would be),
our regular stamp inks will not damage any stamp.

Most inks are available in 2 oz., 8 oz, Pint, Quart, and Gallons.
All but gallons have squirt caps for eazy application.
Regular stamp pad ink is available in 1/2 oz. bottles in black, blue or red.

2 oz., 8 oz, Pint and Quart bottles.

Materials this ink will work on: Plain paper, uncoated cardboard that won't get wet.
Type of stamps: Regular rubber stamp, self-inking stamp with removable ink pad,
     metal-framed self-inkers with removable pads, deluxe metal pocket stamps.
Use with: All types of stamp pads.
Colors available: Black, Blue, Red, Green, Violet, Brown, Hot Pink, Orange,
   Burgundy, Turquoise. [Burgundy and Turquoise only available while supplies last.]

Materials this ink will work on: Clothing.
     This is black ink, so it will not be visible on dark materials.
Type of stamps: Regular rubber stamp, self-inking stamp with felt ink pad.
Use with: Felt stamp pads.
Special Information: The clothing must be washed at least once before stamping.
More Special information: This ink is not permanent.
     You will probably need to stamp the clothing again after 10 to 20 washings.
     Unfortunately, there are no permanent inks that can be used with a rubber stamp.
     The chemicals used to make ink permanent will damage the rubber on your stamp.
Even More Special information: This ink is meant for felt pads only.
     Felt ink pads for self-inking stamps are a special-order item and are not available in most sizes.
Colors available: In stock in black ink. Other colors available on special order.

Materials this ink will work on: A variety of materials:
     Plain paper, coated paper, glass, different types of plastic, different types of metal,
     electronic circuit boards, compact discs, DVDs, polyethelene.
Type of stamps: Regular rubber stamp, self-inking stamp with felt ink pad.
Use with: All types of stamp pads. Some opaque inks will not work properly with stone pads.
Special Information:
     There are over 25 different opaque inks, each one meant for different materials.
     We need to know exactly what material you are stamping and what coating is on the material.
     Sometimes these inks will not stick to the coating and will wipe off.
     You might have to send us a piece of the material so we can test it.
More Special information: Normally, these inks dry in about 30-60 seconds.
     Some have faster drying times and some have slower drying times.
Even More Special information:
     Your stamp must be cleaned every day it is used.   (We also sell stamp cleaner.)
     These inks dry when exposed to air – this is how they dry on these materials.
     The ink will dry on the surface of the stamp. That is why your stamp needs to be cleaned.
     The ink will also dry on the stamp pad.
     Don't ink the entire pad, only enough to cover the stamp.
     When that section of the pad doesn't accept ink anymore, move to another part of the pad.
     When the entire pad is dried up, it's time for a new pad.
     (We'll give you these instructions in writing when you buy the ink.)
More Even More Special information:
     Reactivator is used to freshen the surface of the stamp pad.
     Eventually the pad will be used so much it can't be freshened.
Colors available: We stock Aero #1250 ink in black, red and white.
      Other colors of Aero #1250 available on special order.
      Other opaque inks are available on special order.

Materials this ink will work on:
     One invisible ink is designed for plain paper, uncoated cardboard that won't get wet.
     One invisible ink is designed for skin.
Type of stamps: Regular rubber stamp, self-inking stamp with felt ink pad.
Use with: All types of stamp pads.
Special Information: This ink will glow only under fluorescent ultraviolet light.
     The invisible ink meant for paper will work on most paper, but not all.
     Some white papers have chemicals in them to make them appear whiter.
     These chemicals will interfer with the invisible ink. Nothing can be done about this.
More Special information: This is not permanent. It will eventually fade.
Even More Special information: This ink is not meant for self-inking stamps
     unless the ink pad is made out of felt. Felt ink pads for self-inking stamps are
     a special-order item and are not available in most sizes.
     If you want to use this on a self-inking stamp,
     please let us know what size you want and we will see if pads are available.

Materials this ink will work on: Skin.
Type of stamps: Regular rubber stamp.
Use with: All types of stamp pads except stone pads.
Special Information: This ink dries in about 10-15 seconds.
More Special information: This is a non-toxic, waterproof, fade resisant ink.
     It is suitable for stamping hands for identification and re-entry purposes.
     Once dry, the imprint will remain on the skin for at least 24 hours.
Even More Special information: This is a thick ink and it dries quickly, thinner is
     highly recommended for reconditioning the stamp pad and thinning the ink when needed.
Colors available: Black, red, blue, green, purple, orange, pink, white, yellow.

Materials this ink will work on: Plain paper, uncoated cardboard.
Type of stamps: X-Stamper, MaxLight, I-Stamp, SlimStamp and SuperSlim Stamps.
     This ink will work on some other brands. Please let us know what you have.
     If you are not sure if you have a pre-inked stamp, please contact us.
Use with: This ink is not meant for stamp pads.
Special Information: This is a special oil-based ink that
     cannot be used on other types of stamps.
More Special information:
   This ink is guaranteed to damage all other types of stamps.
Colors available: Black, Blue, Red.
     Other colors available on special order: Green, Light Green, Light Blue, Purple,
         Orange, Yellow, Pink, Brown.

Type of stamps: All types expect Pre-Inked, X-Stamper™, plastic pocket stamps,
     or Automatic Numbering stamps.
Use with: Depending on the ink you are using, the cleaner can be
     used to refreshen the surface on the stamp pad.
Special Information: There are different cleaners depending on the type of stamp
      and type of ink you are cleaning.

     Some inks, like Hand ID Ink, thicken in the bottle when not in use.
     Ink Reactivator is used to make the ink thin again.

     These are stamps where the numbers advance automatically.
Use with: This ink is not meant for stamp pads.
Special Information: This is a special oil-based ink that
     cannot be used on other types of stamps.
More Special information:
   This ink is guaranteed to damage all other types of stamps.
Colors available: Black, Red.
